Then join Chef Kyle as he cooks from an Oxbow Farm CSA box.  Each week he'll make up a menu based on what's in the box, with a few easy to get additions to complete the meal. We'd love to post a menu each week, but Kyle won't know what he's making until the box appears.  So come gather inspiration for your own summer cooking adventures!

The best part of all of this:  Book Larder is a Friday pickup location for  Oxbow Farm's Oxbox program. So you can register for their program, sign up for a class, pick up your box, and go home armed with ideas of what to do with all that lovely produce.

Sunset Supper is a uniquely Seattle event that takes place on a warm summer evening in Pike Place Market. On Friday, August 14, the Market will transform into the perfect party venue for 1,400 guests and 90+ of our region’s finest restaurants, wineries and breweries. Sip and sample gourmet food and drinks, chat with chefs, mingle with your friends, take a chance on a raffle or spin the wheel for prizes, and dance under the stars to live music. All ticket levels include unlimited food and beverages while they last. Proceeds from Sunset Supper benefit the Pike Place Market Foundation, helping end hunger, care for the sick, educate kids, and find homes for those without - right here in Pike Place Market.

During Chefs in Our Field farm to table dinners, guests will have the opportunity to meet local food producers and enjoy an educational farm walk around Newaukum Valley Farm, a certified organic vegetable farm. An intimate five-course meal prepared by renowned chefs will highlight the bounty of Washington State. Fellow producers and artisans will join the discussion at the table to explain how their product are grown and crafted. 

The season three featured chefs are Chef Nathan Crave, Chef Brian Walczyk and Chef Desmond Bonow, all head chefs of Tom Douglas Restaurants in Seattle. Also cooking are; Chef Mathew Woolen from Seattle's The Old Sage and Mackinaw's restaurant owner, Chef Laurel Khan of Chehalis. Farmers and Producers from Black Sheep Creamery, Domina Dairy, Jacob's Creamery, Whitewood Cider Company, 3 Magnets Brewing, Bateaux Cellars and Provisions Mushroom Farm will also be among those featured this season.
