Description:

21 Acres Center for Local Food and Sustainable Living is an agricultural and environmental learning center with a farm market selling local, sustainably grown products. Shop the market, visit the green-built LEED Platinum Center and rediscover the heritage of our region while learning about local food and leading design technologies.

The Center supports the certified organic farm, food hub, school and commercial kitchen providing a vast array of services to the community ranging from helping families learn how to cook healthier meals to determining how to bring homemade recipes to market for commercial sale.

The 21 Acres Farm Market features clean, pesticide-free produce and organic farm products, the Market is open year-round giving shoppers affordable options and the opportunity to support local farmers. CSA details: The 21 Acres Harvest Share Program is for low-income people who can pay by EBT, cash or credit card and was created to enable families that are living on a tight budget to eat better. Each share will include a list of produce for the week's basket along with recipes, a free interactive cooking demonstration and tips on how to grow, eat and live better. Free, interactive cooking classes will provide quick, easy kid-friendly recipes and pantry-building skills and tips on how to stretch meals. Two sizes available during summer harvest months. Two consecutive Harvest Shares will begin June 27 through August 1, 2016. The second lasting eight weeks from August 8 through September 26. Pickup will Saturday afternoons between 2:00 pm and 3:00pm in the 21 Acres Market in Woodinville.

Farming practices: Seasonal produce grown by Washington farmers on certified organic and chemical free farmland.
