In Bow-Edison off Chuckanut Drive. Sustainable, organically grown mixed vegetables, flowers. Retail, wholesale. Produce stand. Farm stays: 1-bedroom guest house.
Our 20-acre farm is located off Chuckanut Drive in the beautiful Samish Flats of Bow-Edison. We grow mixed vegetables and several herbs and edible flowers emphasizing the Italian produce Linda grew up eating in her Italian family.
Our farm grows chicories, lettuces, brassicas, root crops, nightshades, green beans and squashes for retail/wholesale markets. We experiment with growing a few specialty crops each year such as native berries and flowers. We feel farming is as much about community as it is about growing food so we offer farm experiences.
Visit our farm stand, stay overnight in our one-bedroom guest house and check in about occasional events or educational offerings. We welcome bird watchers! With backgrounds in K-12 education, we are poised to partner with schools and receive student field trips to the farm in the near future. Find us on Facebook and reserve guest house bookings here.
Farm practices: Our produce is grown using organic and sustainable methods and we’re making application for organic certification. As stewards of the farm’s ecosystem, we continuously improve its biodiversity by adding native hedgerows to attract pollinators and beneficial insects and use cover crops, rotations and compost to improve the soil. We farm intensively on a small amount of land to efficiently bring fresh food to the marketplace. We have a high tunnel greenhouse to extend the growing season for as many months as possible.
