We raise Scottish Highland beef for meat and breeding stock. The farm has been USDA and WSDA certified organic since 2007. Our cattle are free-range, grass-fed, and handled daily. The meat is dry-aged for 21 days, for flavor and tenderness, custom cut and flash frozen. Retail cuts of beef are available in a 10 pound sampler pack and a 25 pound variety pack at $9 a pound. We have a young cow and calf for sale this year.
Besides being a very beautiful and gentle animal Highland beef is a very lean meat, like buffalo and extremely healthy when raised organic. Prices vary according to amount purchased. Custom-cut with purchase of 1/4, 1/2, or larger at processing time. We process only three beef a year, one was processed February 27, 2017 and is being aged 21 days. Farm practices: Besides grazing all year on our pastures, and feeding beautiful organic hay we use a holistic style of health care using a combination of herbs and veggies to build up their immune system. Therefore no need for antibiotics or chemicals. We are raising cattle in the most humane and healthy way possible.
