Description:

Bybee Farms is a U-Pick blueberry farm that has been owned and operated by the Bybee family since 1946. We are located two miles from North Bend at the base of Mt. Si. Watch for mountain goats while you pick the six different varieties of fresh large blueberries. Email or call if you have questions about directions, weather or picking conditions.

Once we open our season we pick seven days a week and only close to let berries ripen or if there is an extremely bad storm. Ask about our minimal input, sustainable growing methods. From downtown North Bend take Ballarat Avenue North out of town and watch for the U-Pick signs along the way. Cash or checks only.

We also offer an event venue located on the farm for rent. Plan your wedding, company picnics or special events. Tents, tables and chairs included. Please see website for details. Find us on Facebook.

Farming practices: Our crop growing methods are based on our belief that the lowest human/artificial imput is best. You will see at the farm that the blueberries grow in fields with natural grasses and weeds. We do not apply herbicides or pesticides to our fields and only control weeds and grass growth with mechanical methods, mowing or by hand. We spray the bushes in late winter (before leaves or blossoms) with an organic fungicide to control a mummyberry fungus. There is never a spray applied to the berries. Our farm is not certified by any outside agency.
