Description:

Mini farms, U-Pick vegetables, herbs and flowers. Farm store. Pumpkins and bulk vegetable purchases like cabbage, tomatoes, bean and cucumbers.

Now in our sixth year of operation, and located in Carnation, First Light Farm is an eco-friendly farm whose mission is to highlight the interdependent relationship between healthy soils and the health of families and communities through the farm's mini farm program and u-pick opportunities.

These programs bring families and individuals to the farm where they can explore the beauty of open spaces, delight in the wildlife, and enjoy picking or growing their own vegetables, herbs and flowers. We like to say that First Light Farm is a place to "be."

Come visit us -- May through October -- and experience the beauty and sense of interconnection in yourself! Find us on Facebook

Farming practices: First Light Farm uses organic and untreated seeds whenever possible. We buy our seeds from seed companies that work to preserve our important seed heritage. We use interplanting, cover crops and crop rotation to foster healthy soils.

CSA details: Vegetables, flowers and herbs. Currently First Light Farm has a CSA in the Greenwood, Phinney Neighborhood in Seattle. Our goal in CSAs is to foster community around food and therefore only seek to develop CSAs in specific neighborhoods. Contact us if you would like more information on how you can get a CSA in your neighborhood.

Product availability may vary due to weather and other conditions - contact farmers/producers to verify.
