Description:

Certified organic multi-species eggs, unusual berries and tree fruit, plus heirloom turkeys and vegetable production.  Hay, too!

Little Eorthe Farm is a welcoming place where sustainability, stewardship and social justice all come together. We offer a full range of seasonably and organically grown produce including fruit, vegetables, culinary and medicinal herbs, hops, honey and flowers. The majority of our crops are of heirloom heritage, which allows us to offer the tastiest products, not to mention seed-saving capabilities. We also raise chickens, ducks and turkeys for eggs and meat, hogs, sheep and alpacas, weaving their husbandry and "unique" gifts into the choreography of working the land. We'll be debuting our commercial kitchen and value-added products this year! Find us on Facebook!

Farming practices:

We are certified organic and salmon-safe. Our animal practices include rotation with crops and resting the land to make it much more sustainable for all living beings here. We have challenges working with predators and a mischievous herd of elk who continue to remind us who was here first. We have dedicated seven acres to remain wild and provide habitat for our native neighbors. Our poultry reside in 20,000 square foot pens with eight foot fences to prevent predator activities. The pens are moved three times a year to allow for green, free-range activity. We use rain-catch and drip irrigation systems to make the most efficient use of water. Additionally, we are solar-powered to fulfill our energy needs.
