Thao Farm Duvall
- Farmers Markets,
- Wholesale to Other
Thao Farm is a small, sustainable floriculture company run by a family of father, mother and daughter for over 30 years. Thao is our last name. We are hmong farmers from Loas. Our farm is in Duvall, Washington. We grow and sell seasonal cut flowers such as daffodils, hyacinths, tulips, lilac, peonies, dahlias, sunflowers, lilies, baby's breath, dried statice, lavender, and much more. We also grow and provide a few varieties of vegetables such as snap peas, kale, beans, beets, carrots, and basils. We have a farmstand at the Pike Place Market and provide seasonal, cut flowers and same day, handmade bouquets. You can also book customized wedding flowers in advance or DIY buy in bulk. Every Tuesday from early June to early October we sell at a small farmers market at the City Hall in downtown Seattle. The small market is run by the Pike Place Market staff. We provide both flowers and vegetables there. Hours are 10 AM-2 PM.
Farming practices: We are very conscious of farming in a way that is responsible for our business as well as for the environment. We use very minimal non-organic pest control on our flower and vegetable crops. We use other organic practices like cover cropping and crop rotations to make sure we are taking care of the soil and growing nutritious produce.
