Description:
Sunfield Farm & Waldorf School is a wonderful combination of a Waldorf school and community education programs, with a working farm. We are situated on 81 acres of fields, forest and wetlands in Port Hadlock on the Olympic Peninsula. We have five acres planted with vegetables, fruit, and cover crops, and we graze our cows, sheep, goats, and chickens. Our farmers use bio-dynamic farming techniques to tend our land and animals. Our Waldorf school children experience the benefits of respectfully caring for the land as they work side by side with the farmers throughout the year. We have a 40+ member CSA from May to November, offering a range of freshly harvested, nutritious bio-dynamic veggies, fruit and herbs. We also participate at the local Chimacum farmers market every Sunday, and sell to local retailers. We invite you to become part of the farm. Sign up for a CSA membership, volunteer on the farm, and join in our seasonal events to celebrate the beauty and bounty of nature!
Payment: In addition to cash and checks, we accept credit and/or debit cards.
