Green Power Smoothies

Ingredients

1 banana
½ orange, peeled
½ apple, any variety
½ cup kale, spinach, chard, parsley or leafy green of choice
½ avocado (adds creamy texture and bonus nutrients)
½ cup water or juice, as needed
¼ cup yogurt, optional

Other ingredients to add or substitute as desired:
Melons
Berries
Kiwi
Mint
Basil
Pears
Lime
Lemon
Pineapple
Mangoes
Ginger

Instructions

Be adventurous. Enjoy the power boost! There are endless combinations that you can create based on what you have on hand and what you like.

In a blender, combine all fruit and yogurt, blend until smooth and no lumps are left. Slowly pour in water or juice to your desired thickness and consistency.

Serving Size:
Makes about 12 ounces.
