Ingredients

The familiar salty crunch of these nutrient packed chips will have you hooked! Filled with vitamins and minerals so you can feel good about snacking on these every day! 

1 bunch kale, washed and chopped into 1” pieces (Dino kale, also called Lacinato, is great) 

½ teaspoon salt or to taste 

¼ teaspoon pepper or to taste 

1-2 tablespoons high heat oil (such as canola, sunflower, safflower or grape seed oil) 

Other seasonings of choice (such as curry, cumin, paprika, squeeze of lemon or chili powder) 

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350° F. 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine salt, pepper and seasonings of choice with oil. 
  2. Place cut kale inside oil mix and toss together until the kale pieces are shiny with oil and evenly coated. 
  3. Place evenly in single layer on a sheet pan and place in the oven. (If the kale is overlapping a lot, it will steam and get soft instead of crispy!) 
  4. Bake about 8-12 minutes, checking to prevent burning or overcooking. You are looking for it to get crispy and bright green.
