Kohlrabi Crackers


1 medium-sized (3 inches or less in diameter) kohlrabi, peeled with stems removed
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1-2 tablespoons cracked pepper


There’s nothing quite like biting into a crunchy cracker that has been dipped into a spicy hummus or cooled dip. Kohlrabi crackers will give you the crunch you want, but add a little juiciness to the mix.
The options to eat dips with are endless! But if you’re looking for something new and easy, try kohlrabi! They are packed with nutrients and have a mild, nutty flavor that won’t take away from your delicious cheese roll or famous 7 layer dip. Whether you’re hosting a party or snacking by yourself, these peppery crackers will be a wonderful addition to your veggie snacks!

Cut the kohlrabi bulb into about ½ in round slices, and then cut slices in half.
Place slices into a medium mixing bowl.
Drizzle or squeeze lemon juice evenly over slices
Sprinkle in salt and pepper
Either seal the bowl and shake lightly or mix the slices around with a spoon or your hand.
Once slices appear to be evenly coated in pepper you’re done!
Serve as is or with your favorite dip!
