Sauteed Snap Peas


Simple and delicious.

1 tablespoon butter

1 pound fresh snap peas, shelled

¼ cup chopped fresh basil

Salt and ground black pepper to taste


  1. Place the butter in a medium frying pan and warm on low heat until melted.  Ensure the bottom of the pan is coated with melted butter, then add the shelled snap peas. Cook them on medium heat until they are dark green and soft all the way through.
  2. Season them with salt and pepper to taste and transfer them to a serving dish.
  3. Toss in the chopped basil until evenly mixed, and serve.
Serving Size:
Makes 4 servings.
